Summer Bishil is an American actress who is best known for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). The role she played before as a Lebanese American teens Jasira which is many personal trials against the backdrop of the U.S. intervention in Iraq in the Gulf War was featured in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. 2007 was the year she got chosen by Variety as one of the 10 actors they wanted to see. The 2009 film Crossing Over, in which she played a powerful female character in the lead role named Taslima Jhangir and was nominated by the Independent Spirit Award as the best actress. In addition, she was a co-lead and guest in Lucky 7 and other films like the film Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star.
